Tell me anything that has traveled over the long course of history and has survived all the barriers in its way just to stay in the hearts and minds of general public, and that too forever. Can’t think of one? Or are you thinking of watches? Well, my heartiest congratulations to you because you are damn right. I can categorically bet that there is no other invention that has stayed in its whatsoever original shape and is unconditionally loved by fashion lovers.

Besides all this, I am just going to talk about my love for watches we embrace our wrists with also known as “men’s jewelry” as Gordon Bethune suggests here.



There is no exaggeration here but watches are the most important part of my fashion obsession. Honestly, I feel like I am missing on something huge when I go watchless. It is like going out without any clothes at all. On an actual note, women have got a lot of options to beautify themselves from make-up accessories to jewelry and dresses with vibrant designs and colors, and yet the craze around women watches is too high.

Let’s talk about what us men have got? Unless you are one of those cool thugs, you can’t even wear earrings or something. Well then, watches are the only asset we have got. You have to attend a meeting, or want to go out for shopping or you are having a routine hangout with your best buddies, a quality watch on your wrist is must.

Let’s get to the real point of this article. Before I reveal my special love for watches, I want you all to understand that wearing a watch is not an option.

I still the remember my first day at work. Confused, excited, worried, I don’t know how to describe what I was feeling. It was a day full of expected but unseen mysteries and miseries. But, as soon as I exchanged few words with my boss, I found him really satisfied with my appearance and wished me luck for the work. Upon asking my fellow colleagues, it came to knowledge that it was my watch which played a good role in today’s game as my boss has a crazy and immense love for plain luxury watches and I was wearing one.

Other than this, I love luxury watches because they add a specific kind of charm and comfort to my life. You can have all the luxuries but if your dresser does not have a luxury watch, your life is meaningless (just kidding, not really).
