My best friend’s 35th birthday was just at corner. We hardly met anymore due to our busy schedules and of course his married life and the LONG DISTANCE. I know he was happy with it and that was enough for me. I always liked our bond we wouldn’t talk for ages and then just hangout. That hangout would just bridge up the entire gap, and our bond would go stronger. But this time it had been too long because of my promotion I had been extremely packed up. Super busy with the office and new responsibilities I legit forgot how his baby looked like. He had the same story living in Canada’s weather wasn’t easy either he was left with nothing but to clean the snow, work, and look after his first baby.

I was planning to do something good with my short vacation. I needed a break too and his birthday was just one of the reasons for me to tell his wife I’ll be surprising. Surprisingly she agreed to it as well.

Well packing wasn’t hard at all instead getting him a descent gift was. Matt has always been very picky about his stuff, his shoes, watches, shirts everything. I remember shopping with him used to be such a pain in …. I wanted to get him something expensive and something that could be very useful source.

Just when my mind clicked A WATCH it was 3 am in the morning and living in New Jersey I knew stores close at sharp 9. I typed latest nice watches and first thing that popped up was a post from Watchista

Half asleep half awake I clicked and saw a variety of latest collection and they all looked amazing to me but were they amazing to Matt? Just as I was questioning myself, flashback hit me, I remember the time he was dying to get the new Armani watch so he could wear it to the graduation but never got a chance to get it. Sadly I never asked him the model either. I don’t know what was I thinking
I clicked Armaniwatches and god all of them were just flawless. Now I knew why people would run after this brand and other designer watches. Everything about them was solid, watch is made from black ion-plated steel and is fitted with a chronograph quartz movement. It is fastened with a black leather strap and has a black dial. The watch has a date function. I read all this and I knew this was the one for my monkey best dude!
You know what was the best part? I didn’t even have to move an inch I ordered online and got my package in a week, all fancy and expensive looking. Just what I wanted! As i went to surprise my pal the first thing he did after seeing my face with shock, he grabbed the box from my hand yeah that’s him!  Watches over his pal who flew 1000 miles for him after tearing it and finding out it’s the Armani watch his face started glowing with happiness! A smile I only saw rarely he hugged me real hard, his sign of thank you and I just knew that was it! The moment. The moment of pure happiness  and the two old men now were back!
